CLAIM: Disagreement related to products or services COMPLAINT: Disagreement not related to products or services; or discomfort or dissatisfaction regarding customer service.
The filing of the claim does not prevent resorting to other dispute resolution methods, nor is it a prerequisite for filing a complaint with INDECOPI.
The provider must respond to the claim within no more than thirty (30) calendar days, with the possibility of extending the period for up to thirty (30) additional days, upon prior communication with the consumer.
